Project Aim:Ensuring quality, reliable and sustainable access of electricity  to the center of semi-rural Bambadinca using renewable energy sourcesResult 1: Participatory management model of the Bambadinca Community Energy System created and implemented, to ensure its sustainabilityResult 2: Bambadinca inhabitants aware of Safety and Energy EfficiencyResult 3 : Affordable electricity provided to the population through Bambadinca Decentralized System for Production and Distribution of Electricity from Renewable Energy (SCEB)

Project Duration: October 2011 to March 2015        

Location: Bambadinca Sector, Bafatá Region, Guinea-Bissau

Beneficiaries:Civil Sector Beneficiaries: 1000 Bambadinca households; Economical Sector Beneficiaries: 84 Bambadinca merchants;Institutional Sector Beneficiaries :  16 Bambadinca institutions (health center, catholic mission, schools, mosques, police and barrack).

Project Aim: Decrease the rate of deforestation in the Massaca community (Boane district) through the promotion of energy efficiency in the consumption of wood fuel, environmental education and reforestation pilot population.

Project Duration: March 2011 to February 2012        

Location: Massaca, Boane district, Maputo Province, Mozambique
